*Imagine the very Gods & Goddesses of our ancestral psyche becoming real, embodied shape-shifting deities, tracking them, relating to them as they wax and wane throughout the passages and pathways of your lived experience
The Mythopoetics of the Sky Gods & Goddesses will be a 10-part foundational class series where we will journey through the planets, every Tuesday from May 7th to July 9th.
Actually forming a really really deep understanding of the planets is THE foundation of astrology. The planets are not just lists of psychological qualities, or significations, or abstract symbols, or memes to be consumed by bored scrolling minds. A proper understanding of the planets is a doorway into an animate & ancestral perception that stirs deep in the imaginations and hearts of everyone. It’s an emergence into the mythic & poetic realms that live out beyond the humdrum of the modern machine-culture.
Here’s how we're gonna do it. In this program we shall:
*Learn to see, interpret & relate to the planets the way our star-gazing ancestors did
*Form an understanding of how the gods & goddesses of the sky realm embody here on Earth & relate to each other
*Explore how the planets & archetypal parts of your psyche mythically enact in your life, your world, your journey of healing & evolution
Buck the simulated meta-verse & join an active, real-life, flesh-and-blood, learning community that meets weekly in downtown Asheville.
This program is a foundational class series on the planets used cross-culturally in traditional astrology lineages. These classes are designed to be both a depth introduction to the astrology of the planets, as well as an invitation to expand one’s perceptions into the animist realms of ancient myth & ritual-based astrology.
Each class will cover:
*A foundation steeped in planetary mythology, poetics & star-lore
*The archetypal meaning and interpretations of the planets & their signs through various ancient astrology traditions
*An understanding of naked-eye planetary astronomy & cycles of time
*The knowledge of traditional planetary discernment systems, dignities, karakas & rulerships
*The relational matrix represented through the embodiment of each planet
*The alchemy & magic of ritually relating to the planetary deities
*Real-life stories, chart examples & interpretations
*Moments of deep-dive, challenging, edge-pushing, soulful, no nonsense, getting real about life on Earth
*Study & lessons of current events in your personal life, society & the ever-changing world that we inhabit
