But when Klaus von Tannenbaum arrives, he brings with him Carol Kashem to start managing the Indiana Kindlmarkt. Poor Greta is losing her job. That is not all, many of the booths that have operated at the Indiana Kindlemarkt are losing their space as Carol declares she is closing booths that don’t meet sales quotas.
Before she begins, some sinister unknown gives her a drink, which turns out to be poison! Before expiring, Carol says, “I expect all of you to spend the rest of the evening figuring out what I drank and who did this to me.”
