We’re doing it again — comedy night at Maple Laundromart.
Headlining the night is Sagal Ali, the brilliant mind behind The Muslim Girl Show. Her sharp, fearless humour about culture, identity, and life as a modern Muslim woman has made her one of Toronto’s must-see comics. She brings stories that hit home and punchlines that hit harder.
Hosting and opening the night is Hawa Haaji — poet, comedian, and Ottawa legend. She’ll warm up the crowd with bold jokes, quick wit, and that unmistakable Hawa energy that keeps everyone on their toes. Because let’s be real… “It’s not eassssy.”
