One of the most sought after guitarists in Detroit, Kris Kurzawa has experience playing in a myriad of styles. For more than a decade, he has taught guitar at various Detroit-area schools. In 2011, he received his first of many Detroit Music Awards for Outstanding World Songwriter. Kurzawa has backed artists including Mulgrew Miller, Bob James, Walter White, Larry Carleton, David Sandborn, Jeff Lorber, and many others.
Singer/songwrigter/composer Michael King has produced over 35 artists’ CDs, including award winning recordings by JD Lamb (Feel That), and James Wailin (Rhythm of Life). Other artists produced include Karen Newman, Jill Jack, Stewart Francke, Alyssa Simmons, Chuck Shirock, Barbara Payton, Jibilian/Glass, Melissa McClain, Hope Orchestra, and the Howlin Diablos.
