Hark the sounds of the songs of UNC. We sang them as students and continue to do so as alumni. We’ve taught them to our children and grandchildren. Now, we have a chance to get the full stories behind the timeless tunes known and loved by all Tar Heels. Director of UNC Bands Jeff Fuchs will join Freddie Kiger ’74 (’77 MAT) to play and relate stories for every song from “Aye Zigga Zoomba” and “Here Comes Carolina” to “I’m a Tar Heel Born” and “Hark the Sound.” All proving that, like every picture, a melody conveys a thousand words.
