MudPuddLeS started in a small-town Nebraska music room as a two-piece punk-pop act inspired by the Violent Femmes and Dead Milkmen. Joined by Angela on bass in 1994 (after the guys decided she “looked like a bass player”), the trio took their electric, high-energy sound to bigger stages like the legendary Ranchbowl.
After a long break, they reunited in 2017, evolving into a genre-bending mix of post-punk, folk punk, and power pop. With a string of recent releases and a history rooted in DIY grit, MudPuddLeS is still writing, recording, and delivering live shows that are equal parts nostalgic and fresh.
