Saturday, October 4! On our Main Stage, sponsored by Experience Roseburg, we are thrilled to welcome The Mother Smuckers to our Main Stage at Blocktober Fest!“Materosmuckerificus,” commonly known as The Mother Smuckers, is a mutated organism believed to have formed in 2021 when Christian and Tyler fell into a contaminated vat of radioactive jelly. Their friends Micah and Brandon came along to rescue them from the ooze, but got pulled in themselves. What emerged was a highly contagious strain of funk fusion; side effects of contamination include: involuntary movement, chronic stank face, and loss of inhibitions.
The Mother Smuckers have a wide range of musical tastes and influences from classic rock and metal to jazz, funk, and soul giving them a unique and compelling sound. The band is influenced by funk-pop artists like Cory Wong, Fearless Flyers, and Scary Pockets as well as fusion artists like Mark Lettieri, High Fade, and Plini.
