Johannesburg’s premier wedding, corporate, and party band, The Morning After, is thrilled to announce that they will be back at café Roux, Noordhoek, on Wednesday 17 December 2025 as part of their highly anticipated December tour.Their popular show, “Rock Around The Clock”, promises an unforgettable journey through the golden age of Rock n’ Roll, featuring the biggest hits of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Audiences will be transported back in time with classics from legends, including Bill Haley and The Comets, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Diamond, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and many more.
Taking its name from Bill Haley & The Comets’ groundbreaking hit—the first Rock n’ Roll single to top the Billboard Pop charts—the show celebrates a track that has since been reimagined by icons such as Ringo Starr, The Isley Brothers, Pat Boone, and The Platters.
Renowned for their electrifying performances and timeless sound, The Morning After will take to the stage in sharp black suits, delivering a nostalgic set packed with favourites including Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode”, The Beatles’ “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”, Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall”, Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”, and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising”.
