The Mon (IT)
THE MON is the solo project of Urlo, vocalist and bassist of the long running Italian heavy psychedelic trio Ufomammut, co-founder of the internationally renowned poster art collective Malleus Rock Art Lab, and of the independent label Supernatural Cat.
Where Ufomammut projects massive, otherworldly soundscapes,
THE MON offers a more vulnerable and introspective experience. The music moves through shadowy electronic landscapes, ambient textures, and hypnotic dark folk, always guided by an emotional core that searches for meaning, balance, and transformation.
In autumn 2025, THE MON is returning with a new dual-album release, further expanding its expressive range:”Embrace The Abandon”.
The work is conceived as a diptych, two sides of the same emotional and sonic coin.
The first part, “Songs Of Abandon”,
out on the 7th of November via Supernatural Cat, is built around acoustic ballads, raw vocals, and stripped-down arrangements, revealing a more fragile, human side of the project.
The second chapter, “Songs Of Embrace” (out on the 6th of March 2026) dives into a dark, instrumental realm of ambient drone and textured electronics, atmospheric and immersive, the album sounds like a soundtrack for solitude. This upcoming release is a meditation on identity and shadow, on duality and integration, a continuation of the internal journey at the heart of THE MON.

kariti (IT)
kariti (карити) - 'to mourn the dead' in church Slavonic - is an emotional & creative outlet of ekaterina - a Russian-born poet and songwriter based in Italy. Her debut 'Covered Mirrors' was released in 2020 (Aural music) and represents a ‘cathartic peregrination through bereavement’. The sophomore record 'Dheghom' (Lay Bare recordings, 2024) saw a development in sound, songwriting and instrumentation played by ekaterina, adding key instruments to her previously main tool - guitar.
kariti's new album ‘still life’ is coming 0n November 7th 2025 and will be followed by tours and festival appearances.
kariti on still life: these songs are the aftermath of being galvanized into a disillusioned reflection on human life and the way it is lived by most of us in the world in its current state.
