Designed for architecture and design enthusiasts, this guided tour offers context, stories, and fresh perspectives that bring Faro’s modernist landscape to life. Along the way, you’ll encounter some of the city’s most remarkable examples of the movement, including:
- Casa Verde – a pastel-hued Art Deco landmark with elegant geometric lines.
- The Modernist – designed by Lisbon architect Joel Santana, this building embodies the purest modernist ideals of form and function.
- Casa Gago – a timeless creation by Manuel Gomes da Costa, one of the Algarve’s most celebrated modernist architects.
