Join us for our final concert of the season!EWS Youth! opens the show with spectacular offerings from the most talented youth in the region. Katahj Copley's In Living Color will set the glorious tone for the evening, followed by the luscious O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen (transcribed by H. Robert Reynolds). Closing out the first half of the program is David Maslanka's Give Us This Day, by which point you will have forgotten these are high schoolers!!
For the second half of this unforgettable concert, the Eastern Wind Symphony has prepared a tour de force for your ears- from the virtuosic Rocky Point Holiday by Ron Nelson, to Maslanka's transcendent and ethereal 4th Symphon, and wrapping up with Kevin Day's bombastic and funk-driven Concerto for Wind Ensemble.
