Sober in Knoxville, and the sober bar, are the brainchild of Lindsay Elsten, a graduate of the Haslam College of Business.
Working with Lindsay’s dream, UTK students have designed the Mindful Mixer.
It is a proof of concept for a potential sober bar.
They will have Trivia and a cornhole tournament as their main two activities along with some miscellaneous games, music, and socializing.
There will be prizes given to the winners for both the Trivia team and the corn hole contest winners.
Through Sober in Knoxville, the students will be selling mocktails they have created and other various non-alcoholic beverages in addition to a few food items.
The proceeds from Mindful Mixer will go to Sober in Knoxville.
So, come on down to a night of fun and socializing at the Mindful Mixer on Thursday, May 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm!
