We've teamed up with the award-winning Broken Box Mime Theater (BKBX) to bring this original mime masterclass from New York City to Brisbane!
BKBX performs original work entirely through movement.
You'll be taught body language, mime techniques, staging metaphors, efficiencies in storytelling, and how to devise work.
Teaching you will be Becky Baumwoll, Artistic Director of BKBX.
She is a 2020 BRIClab Artist, 2021 ITAC Innovator, and 2021 NYC Womenβs Fund grantee.
Tasha Milkman will be joining Becky as Educational Lead of BKBX.
She is a teaching artists responsible for developing innovative, body-empowering curriculum and performance pieces at their theatre in NYC.
