The Mike Lynch Memorial Fund, is a heartfelt initiative created by family and friends to honor a man who meant so much to his community. Mike Lynch, a 50-year-old Lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department, tragically passed away on 9/28/2024 after his courageous battle with cancer.
Mike served with unwavering honor and dedication, being a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. As a devoted husband, loving father of three, parishioner of St. Eugene's Church and proud member of the United States Marine Corps, his legacy of service and love will never be forgotten. Mike was also a skilled cement finisher with the Cement Masons Union Local 502, contributing to the beauty of the city’s skyline and the strength of its roads. His commitment as a dedicated Chicago firefighter & Marine will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
“The Hey Brother - Let’s Fire It Up Fundraiser,” will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago from 12-5pm.
