About this Event
Join us on one of our pedal pubs as we enjoy the lights throughout the city and visit some of Downtown Detroit's coolest bars. Bring your own Christmas cheer on our BYOB trolley.
Prior to the ride:
We meet at McShane's Irish Pub at 6:45 pm, about a half hour before we actually take off. In this time you'll meet the driver, check in, and get situated on the bike. At 6:55 pm, the driver will go over a couple rules and then the tour will be on its way.
During the ride:
The ride, though subject to change, will look something like this:
Depart from McShane's
Drive through Beacon Park
Stop at Bookies or another bar near the area
Drive by The Spirit of Detroit
Stop in Campus Martius/Cadillac Square to take pictures at the Christmas Tree, see the ice rink and shop in the pop-up shops. Warm up and grab a drink in the Cadillac Lodge
Ride through Capitol Park
Finish ride at McShane's
Listen to holiday music, laugh, take pictures, and have a great time on Detroit's Party Bike.
With electric assist, our guests never pedal too hard -- just enough to stay warm!
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Since we will be making stops at bars, riders must be 21 years or older with photo ID to participate.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We begin our rides in a parking lot located kitty corner to McShane's. The lot belongs to Eaton Springs. There is parking there, as long as street parking around McShane's. Many choose to arrive via Uber or Lyft. We encourage you to select a designated driver before your event.
What can I bring into the event?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on the bike! Visit our website to see our policies and FAQs.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Call Mike or Nick at 313-744-3272, or email questions to [email protected]
What's the refund policy?
There are no refunds once a ticket is purchased. (Rides will take place regardless of temperature or weather conditions unless there is an on-going snow storm.)
If there is a snow emergency or The Michigan Pedaler deems that the streets are unsafe for our bike, we will cancel the evening's ride and refund ticket purchasers' money. A basic expectation is: if there is accumulation currently occurring on roads, the ride would be cancelled. Otherwise, expect the event to take place.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
Yes, we must see your ticket in order for you to get on the bike. Tickets can be printed or shown electronically.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that is ok. The name on the ticket does not have to match the name of the person who attends.
