Mischa was admitted to the Mermaid Ward, a psychiatric hospital in London. There, armed with smuggled cameras, she slowly reconstructed her fractured reality one photograph at a time. This Washington Film Works film is supported by 4Culture, CityArts and made in in proud partnership with the NAMI (The National Alliance of Mental Illness.) WARNING: This film deals with issues which may be sensitve to some viewers, including suicidal ideation, substance abuse, psychosis and depression.
