About this Event
Join us for the second Hurricane Beryl Relief Benefit Concert in Calgary on Sunday, November 24th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridgeland SDA Church (4812 1st Street NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 4P4). This event continues our mission to support communities impacted by Hurricane Beryl, which struck in July 2024, devastating areas of Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Following the first event in Edmonton on September 8th, we were able to raise funds to provide 171 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in these regions. Half of the supplies were sent to Carriacou and Petite Martinique, while the other half supported students in Union Island, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This time, we are focused on supporting teachers in the affected areas. The funds raised at the Calgary concert will go toward purchasing teaching supplies to help educators deliver quality instruction and continue their important work in the classroom.
