The Mean Times have finally done it - released an album that proves years of glorious potential weren’t just well-dressed procrastination. 'Feel More Dumb' (out 12 September on Golden Robot Records) fuses post-punk fury, garage-rock swagger, and sharp-tongued absurdism into something dangerously catchy.Recorded at Head Gap Studios, and produced by Anna Laverty (Camp Cope, The Peep Tempel, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), the record is loud, literate, occasionally filthy, and uncomfortably honest.
We’re marking the occasion with a jaunt up to ACT and NSW, with our first stop being Dissent Bar in Canberra.
Joining us for the night will be local legends Spit the Dummy and Bronze Age Collapse.
Come grab a vinyl, spill a beer, and watch four drongos hurtling toward middle age with no plan, no filter, and no sense of when to stop. It’s going to be beautiful.
Ticket link to come.
