The band's four founding members— Layzell, Matt Rose (guitar, vocals), Geoff Petrie (guitar, vocals), and Peter Lemon (vocals, drums).The Matinee has released 4 full-length studio albums. The award-winning band have worked with Steve Berlin (Los Lobos, The Tragically Hip) Steve Bays (Said The Whale, Dan Mangan) Jamie Candiloro (Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson), & most recently teamed up with Juno- Nominated producer Steve Dawson on their self-released album. They have consistently toured across Canada &the USA, opening for such acts as The Sheepdogs, Jim Cuddy, Mat Mays, Randy Bachman & Dallas Smith.
