Calling all opera lovers!
MassOpera community and youth ensemble (CYE) auditions—for our 2025 production of Alcina—will be held in person on Saturday January 25th with an option for auditioning via video submission. Please fill out the application to secure your spot!
The MassOpera Community & Youth Ensemble has been formed with the goal of incorporating the wider Massachusetts community into our mainstage productions. We aim to create a space to share in our mutual love of opera and provide opportunities for students and classical singer hobbyists/enthusiasts to gain professional stage experience.
This program is available to any classical voice student or hobbyist singer age 14+ by April 2025.
There is no fee to audition. If accepted into the Community and Youth Ensemble singers will need to pay the $685 program fee to participate. MassOpera CYE rehearsals will take place on Monday evenings in April May and June. Tech & Production week is June 21st-June 29th.
