THE MASK I WEAR: My Journey Through Expressive ArtsFor the participants of the Life Through a Mask program
7Arts has partnered with cultural institutions in the Annapolis Valley to bring the masks created during the Life Through a Mask program to a broad audience.
The first exhibit will be hosted at ARTSPLACE in Annapolis Royal from April 5 – May 25, 2025, with the opening reception being on April 5 from 12PM-2PM. Located at 396 St-George Street, ARTSPLACE is a contemporary gallery and arts centre that is operated by the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council (ARCAC).
The Nova Seven Arts Council (7Arts), through its Life Through a Mask initiative, invites program participants to take part in a series of exhibitions in the Annapolis Valley in 2025. This unique event will bring together the military veteran community and attendees to change the conversation surrounding mental wellness. The exhibition seeks to elevate awareness of mental health and encourage community involvement by highlighting the healing potential of artistic expression.
