The Leeds Marketing Meetup is an informal, friendly place for the marketers of Leeds to meet, learn, and share knowledge with one another. Come in 'listen' not 'sell' mode :)
We’re back in the lovely Glean offices for this one. We just want to get together, say hello, have a chat, and have a nice time.
Think of this as a community event, where the focus is very much on you meeting other people in a chilled out friendly space. We’ll chat over food and drink, listen to an inspirational speaker or two, chat some more, and go home buzzing with new contacts and new ideas.

Topic: How to Get Stakeholder Buy-in for Your Ideas, Every Time
Before training to become a business coach, Matt Saunders (our brilliant October speaker!) was a web designer for 15+ years, both in house and freelance. One common problem he found in the creative / marketing industry is communicating the value of our ideas in effective way. In identifying this challenge, Matt learned coaching skills to hold better conversations with clients, and it enabled all parties to build a clearer picture, becoming more aligned on shared goals, reducing ego and ambiguity.
Join TMM Leeds as we explore:
1) How we usually communicate, and why it's hit and miss
2) What people really want to hear in the proposal process
3) How to use coaching skills to problem-solve more effectively
Whether you are an in-house marketer or working client-side, this session is for anyone who needs to not only sell an idea, but ensure it lands every time.

This is a donation ticketed event. The ticket price is yours to choose, from £3 to £30 (the average attendees choose to pay £8.79 :)
