Family and friends of our great friend Mark would like to run a tournament in his memory and raise money for Marymount University Hospital & Hospice where Mark was cared for by the amazing staff during his last few days. Mark passed away on the 20th March 2004 and left a hole in the hearts of all who loved him and is very sadly missed everyday since ❤️The Tournament will kickoff at 2pm in Casement Park with Dunbar Celtic Legends Vs Casement Celtic Legends Vs Friends of Mark and we invite all who knew Mark to come along on the day for a game of ball which Mark loved to play. There will be a Cup presented to the winning team and medals for first and second. Also there is a trophy for Player of the Tournament.
Please direct message me or any of the co-hosts if you would like to play your part in celebrating our dear friend Mark. We are asking for €10 per player and all this money will go to Marymount.
We will celebrate later in the Friars Walk Tavern and we will have a raffle with some amazing prizes. Tickets will be on sale throughout the day and also that night in the Friars Walk Tavern. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all who have sponsored spot prizes so far and anyone who would like to sponsor a spot please DM me or any of the co-hosts. We are blown away with the prizes we have received so far and all sponsors will be thanked on Facebook when the event is over.

The Mark Durkan Cup will run annual and we hope to have more clubs involved and keep Mark’s memory alive.
