A 15.5 or 22.5 training run based on people with "Marathon in mind".So Rutland water is a tried and tested fave for that long run in a training schedule for time on feet, mileage and staying focused throughout.
The pace will be steady but constant, we may get a small comfort break at Empingham and at the route split.
Due to time of year it may be prudent to think a multi-terrain footwear choice, though not a stud. It may be round a reservoir but it is not flat, has camber and cattle grids!
