Please join Cheryl Offord on her journey of healing. In memory of my daughter Shylynn and to honor all lost loved ones, you are warmly invited to join a meaningful journey of healing and remembrance.
As the sun guides us from dawn to dusk, symbolizing the passage of time and emotions, we will walk together, taking breaks to reflect on our personal journeys of grief and healing. Through shared live videos and heartfelt posts, we will explore the paths of grief and resilience, offering tools and support for those who walk alongside us in memory of their own beloved ones. Lake Simcoe could take potentially 4 days to walk from one end to the other.
The "Waabanangookwe Journey to Healing" is a space where we come together to raise awareness for addiction and mental health, aiming to break down barriers and foster understanding and compassion. Shylynn's spirit, our shining star, lights the way as I journey around Lake Simcoe, a place rich with shared experiences and profound connections.
This journey is a tribute not only to Shylynn's 22 years of life but also to the stories, struggles, and resilience of all the loved ones we carry in our hearts. As we walk, share, and embrace the bittersweet journey of loss and healing, we invite you to join us in honoring and remembering those we hold dear, drawing strength and comfort from each other's presence and shared experiences.
We will meet at Tudhope Park, and I will provide a map closer to the date.
