Raised on their grandfather’s treasured LP collection, brothers Chris and Taylor Malpass fell in love with the brother-harmony traditions of legends like Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Merle Haggard, and more. That early influence shaped a sound that is rich, authentic, and proudly traditional.
From performing in churches alongside their father to working closely with country music royalty, the brothers honed their craft on the road with icons including Merle Haggard and steel guitar great Don Helms. Their dedication paid off when Haggard produced their debut album, launching a career rooted in respect for country music’s past.
Produced by Bluegrass Hall of Famer Doyle Lawson, their latest album Lonely Street delivers fresh original songs that sound like they came straight from a smoky jukebox of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, with help from Ben Isaacs of The Isaacs.
