Join artist, Leslie Larson, for a workshop experience exploring the majestic nature of skies and how to tackle painting them. Those who take part in the workshop will learn the art of composing and painting skies using acrylic paints.The workshop will consist of sessions over the course of a two day period:
Day 1: Leslie will display and examine different types of painted skies with the participants. Then she will give tips while doing a painting demonstration. Attendees are welcome to take notes and will be given the opportunity to practice some of the techniques discussed that day.
Day 2: Leslie will provide supplies and sample projects for participants to use while applying the techniques from the previous session. Instruction on individual projects will be given as needed.
Those who come to both sessions should walk away with a completed painting by the end of the second day.
Register for only Day 1 if you mostly want to learn from and observe the painting demonstration.
Register for the full 2 Day workshop if you want to apply the techniques under the guidance of the instructor and have the opportunity to create a painting by the end of the workshop.
*Some experience is preferred, but not necessary.
*For Adults and older teens.
Active participation is encouraged! Participants should bring a notebook or sketch pad for practice and note-taking.
*Light refreshments will be provided.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain an understanding and appreciation for painting skies, and benefit from the expertise of the instructor throughout the course of the workshop.

Included in the price of the Full Workshop are all essential painting supplies and substrate for painting.
