All the way from Argentina we are delighted to welcome an extraordinary puppeteer: Rosana López.With her roots in the Andes of Mendoza, Rosana brings a rich cultural heritage, woven into every thread of her marionette work. Her art transcends borders, offering not only masterfully crafted string puppets, but also a profound connection to place, memory, and identity.
The show she will be sharing with us is Enderas Masugui (The Magic Wheel of Time), a poetic and enchanting puppetry journey for all ages.

About the Artist and Company — El Alma en un Hilo:
Rosana is a visual artist, puppeteer, and playwright who specialises in theatre productions with string puppets. She has trained with masters from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, England, and Spain. For the past 12 years, she has directed her company El Alma en un Hilo.
She creates puppets and set designs for her own productions as well as for other companies. Rosana has led string puppetry workshops across Latin America and has represented Argentina at renowned international festivals in the Americas and Asia.
As a puppeteer with a strong Latin American identity, her artistic voice is both vital and timely. Rosana’s vision offers a powerful counterpoint to dominant narratives in the global puppetry scene.
