Based in Carmarthenshire, Peni runs a thriving market garden and orchard business. Over time, she has transformed a five-acre field into a rich, biodiverse, and abundant haven, proving the effectiveness of her methods in real-world conditions.
Her success is rooted in a deep understanding of soil microbiology and an innovative approach to regenerative farming. Through the use of biochar, inoculated composts, biofertilisers, and other soil amendments, she has demonstrated that working in partnership with soil life can produce abundant, resilient crops. These regenerative methods have been successfully trialled at larger farm scale, delivering excellent results.
A passionate educator, Peni regularly teaches courses in permaculture, sustainable horticulture, biofertilizer production, and biochar. Through her teaching and practical work, she inspires others to grow food in harmony with nature and to rebuild healthy, living soils.
