ADMISSION:
Admission is free and open to current USC students only, who must use the provided transportation to participate. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Check-in for the event will begin at 9 a.m. on campus. Buses will depart at 9:30 a.m. and return to campus at 3:30 p.m. Brunch will be provided. Reservations required. RSVP beginning Tuesday, October 1, at 10 a.m.
DESCRIPTION:
In conjunction with the exhibition Spectral Science: Visions of the World Beyond, USC students are invited to visit Hollywood’s . Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at the mysterious and storied home of , which opened in 1963 and is famously open only to magicians and their guests. The visit will include a guided tour plus magic performances and brunch.
Bus transportation will be provided from the USC campus. Attendees must follow The Magic Castle’s .
This is the third event exploring the surprising intersections of science, illusion, and spiritualism in support of the exhibition Spectral Science: Visions of the World Beyond at Doheny Memorial Library.
