The Madison Regatta has been held annually for over 70 years. We host one of the largest hydroplane races in the United States. The regatta festival also consists of numerous other events throughout Madison, including the Roostertail Music Festival, Regatta Pageants, Fire Station Water Ball Fight, 10k run/walk, Street Dance, Music On The River, R/C Boat Race, the popular Patriotic Regatta Parade held on Friday evening of Regatta Weekend, and fireworks on Saturday night.We are proud to be bringing back the fastest racing boats on water, featuring H-1 Unlimited, Grand Prix America, Vintage Hydros, and a number of other fantastic and fast racing classes.
The Madison Regatta has pivoted from a boat race to a full week of experiences for everyone to enjoy. We now host The Roostertail Music Festival, which has featured Grammy-nominees and #1 chart topping artists. In addition to racing and music, we have made the events free for children and added other attractions.
