What is the Butterfly Effect? The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate, or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in another location.
So what is a Lupus Effect? The phrase can refer to many different cause-and-effects. You may plan to go on a fun fulfilled vacation to Malibu beach, but were you out in the sun all day? How did you feel when you woke up the next day? Well, if you battle Lupus more than likely you may wake up with a painful rash, and lesions on your face, neck, hands, and feet. You may have to deal with joint pain, fatigue, fevers, flu-like symptoms, etc. all from a fun day in the sun.
The Lupus Effect Fundraiser Dinner:
Come out and listen to Lupus Survivors who have to deal with the causes and effects of battling Lupus. More importantly, you will also hear from companies that have products and services that can help someone who is dealing with not just Lupus but many other autoimmune diseases.
We are asking all guests to wear All Black!

More Hope Lupus Foundation:
Brandee Kay found More Hope Lupus Foundation to help Lupus Warriors navigate through life with decreasing multiple prescriptions by introducing them to different companies with more so natural products and natural body activities. Brandee Kay also founded her foundation to raise awareness of employment challenges while dealing with Lupus. Lastly, one of the most heartbreaking reasons behind finding More Hope Lupus Foundation is Brandee Kay lost her 1st child stillborn due to Lupus and it is her mission to walk women through losing a child before/during birth due to Lupus.
Fundraiser:
More Hope Lupus Foundation will be raising money in 2024 to help send a child and hopefully more than one, to College who has a parent battling Lupus.
