Through storytelling, poetry, yoga philosophy, and anatomy we dive into an experiential, elemental practice intended to bring you into the powerful unified state of yoga, the flow state.
The luminous state is state of brightness, radiance, and illumination, which gives us a heightened state of awareness and an elevated sense of clarity. When we experience this radiance we move through the world with greater ease, accepting both joy and the inevitable challenges of life with grace. Knowing that the luminous state is possible, why do we lack motivation and discipline allowing ourselves to be ruled by dissatisfaction and apathy? This is the conundrum all human beings face. Will we take the red pill or the blue pill? Will we numb ourselves or will we awaken? As the late poet Mary Oliver asks, “Are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?”
Let’s explore the benefits of breathing, the challenges we all face, and the radiant gifts of practicing yoga together.
