The Lowland Ramblers are one of the rising talents out of Kentucky. Fusing their traditional bluegrass roots with modern sounds, they are determined to carve out their space in the state’s robust musical heritage. Founded in 2023, the string band has been playing shows throughout the Ohio Valley, travelling as far as Philadelphia on their solo tours. This quartet has opened for East Nash Grass on multiple occasions and cobilled with the likes of Mama Said String Band, Mash Grass, 65 North Pickers, and Nectar Valley. Their debut album, ‘Going Under’, released in August 2025, contains songs arranged in the bluegrass style with songwriting reminiscent of John Prine, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers …(etc.) . Their originals are renowned for coming from a place that is raw and relatable, and their covers range from songs as old as the civil war to popular anthems that draw the audience out of their chairs to dance and sing along. With their unique fusion of bluegrass, country, rock, and a few psychedelic jams, The Lowland Ramblers bring fans together for an unforgettable live show
