Picky New Promotions and UoN Student Life present Irish rockers The Love Buzz with support from The Vandervalls and Canned Pineapple at the Lab in Northampton. The Love Buzz, known for their high energy sets and hypnotic melodies, will play their first ever Northampton show on Wed, May 8! The band, who describe themselves as “a steamy, tongue in cheek beacon of hope with optimism and irony for the vagrants of Cork City and further afield.”
After supporting The Darkness on their Irish tour in 2022, last year they were one of nine bands picked to compete in the 2023 Emerging Talent competition at Glastonbury, and played no fewer than five stages there. Last month they toured the UK, supporting fellow Irish band NewDad for a series of sold-out shows. The band recently returned from India, representing Ireland on a Jameson Whiskey-sponsored tour.
Support comes from our favourite Brighton lads, Canned Pineapple, playing American-tinged slacker rock with sing-along melodies and loads of personality, and local heroes The Vandervalls.
Tickets are only £5 OTD/£6 for non-members. Doors at 7 pm. 14+ (under 16s only admitted with an adult).
