Join us for a day delving into the Lord of the Rings!
This one day intensive will be held on Saturday the 23rd of November 2024 from 10:00 AM (AEST) to 3:00 PM.
Focussing mainly on The Fellowship of the Ring, we will spend time looking at:
- The Friendship of Hobbits
- Dominion and Domination (a look at Tom Bombadil, Sauron, Saruman and the Elves)
- Our Life as a Story (or an argument against pure conservatism)
The Lord of the Rings is the epic of our time. JRR Tolkien not only created a magnificent story, he wove many applicable truths about reality into his book. This trilogy repays repeated study.
