Please join us for The Longest Night – Sunday, Dec 21st – 7-8:00pm at City Life Church.Christmas is a beautiful season full of joy and cheer, and yet it can also be a reminder of grief, hardship and loss. For this reason, we are honoured to offer a special service to make room for the complex emotions the Christmas season may bring.
Planned specifically around the Winter Solstice, ‘The Longest Night’ is a reflective service to honor losses of all kinds – an estranged relationship, a broken family, previous trauma, or things longed for and not yet seen.
With acoustic music, scripture readings, moments of reflection and prayer for those who would like, we plan to make room for grief and to also rejoice as a community, in the hope of Jesus born into a weary world.
There will be no childcare however a Parents Room will be available with live feed.
