On January 19th, 2024, join us at Korumburra Golf Club for The Longest Day — a fundraising event that challenges participants to play a marathon round of golf in support of the Cancer Council.The Longest Day is an important initiative where golfers of all skill levels come together to raise vital funds for cancer research and support services. Participants choose to play 36, 54, or 72 holes throughout the day — it's a true test of endurance, but the cause is worth every swing!
Cancer touches the lives of so many people, and this event is dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer. All funds raised will go towards the Cancer Council, helping with important research, cancer prevention, and support programs for people living with cancer and their families.
By taking part, you're not only challenging yourself on the golf course, but you’re also making a real difference in the fight against cancer. Your support will help fund breakthroughs in cancer treatment and improve the lives of those who need it most.

How to Sign Up for The Longest Day Fundraiser:
1. Go to the Sign-Up Link:
o Click on this link to start your registration: https://www.longestday.org.au/register/vic
2. Complete your Profile:
o Enter your personal details
o Fundraising amount that you would like to achieve
o Decide how many holes you would like to play (36, 54, or 72)
o A few other questions about why you are participating
3. Make Your Donation:
o After signing up, the club is asking you to make a minimum donation of $30. This will go directly to the Cancer Council and is essentially your entry fee for the day.
4. Fill Out the Google Form:
o Once you’ve made your donation, please fill out this short Google Form: https://forms.gle/mnQvZagqTswF4iDb7
o The form will help the organisers prepare for the day by gathering important details.
5. That’s it!
o Once you’ve completed both steps (signing up, donating, and filling out the form), you’re all set to go.
o The event rules, times and further details will be shared closer to the day. There will be a raffle, novelties, music and other things.
