This will be the 4th annual Longest Day 5k/10k and this year we are switching it up a bit and adding a 0.5k Beer Run. We are doing it again and it’s going be a blast!!!By now I would hope the Beard vs Beans name is known, and if not here's a little bit about us!
Sibling rivalry is something that everyone with a brother or sister is familiar with. My younger brother and I definitely know a thing or two about it. Together, we decided to put our competitive efforts toward a cause that we both personally believe in. My name is Miguel Martinez and my brother, Matthew Skinner, and we created Beard vs. Beans; a fundraising team which benefits The Alzheimer’s Association. In our continued efforts to help ENDALZ we bring you The Longest Day 5k/10k with Beard vs Beans.
The 10k/5k will have medals for all the finishers and a pretty amazing shirt. The participants who want to do the .5k Beer Run will receive a beer mug and the winner will receive an award. You can chose to do the 0.5k Beer Run post 5k/10k and get all the swag. Come join us and have a great time with our sponsors. As always. ALL profits will benefit the Alzheimer Association. We are working on a 2 part medal to piece together with the Run to Remember medal which will be held on June 20th.
