There’s a particular kind of magic in the Winter Solstice.The long dark has a way of slowing the body, softening the mind, and making space for the truths we’ve been carrying quietly in the background.
This gathering is a way to step into that stillness with intention.
We’ll begin in circle, facilitated by Waymatea Ellis, easing into ceremony and grounding ourselves in the energy of the season.
Annie Hunting will guide you through an intention-setting ritual to welcome the slow return of light.
There will be space to reflect, to write, and to name what you’re ready to release into the dark.
From there, Krista Mendez will move us into an ecstatic dance journey, letting the body speak in ways the mind can’t.
Nothing choreographed, nothing forced. Just movement, breath, and presence.
After the dance, we’ll land together with a gentle integration.
Light refreshments will be offered, and each attendee will receive a small gift to carry the energy of the Solstice forward.
What to Bring:
• Water bottle
• Journal and pen
• Yoga mat or blanket
• Comfortable layers you can move in
• An open heart and a willingness to soften
