Most British allies took part in the parade, including Belgium, Brazil, China, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, Luxembourg the Netherlands and the United States.
Jenny is currently a Postgraduate Researcher examining the Polish
Armed Forces in the West. She has a long-standing interest in the field
of Polish history as the granddaughter of ‘Sybiracy’ – those Poles who
were deported to Siberian work camps by the Russian Army. She has
presented a number of talks and lectures on the Polish experience of the
Second World War. Her research topic - Coalition and Culture Shock: The
Experience of the Polish Armed Forces in Britain, 1939.
