Thrilled to welcome The Local Honeys to the farm on Saturday, October 26th! This will be a full band performance. For almost a decade the duo (Montana Hobbs and Linda Jean Stokley) have been an integral part of the Kentucky musicscape. They’ve paid their dues, garnering countless accolades and accomplishments (tours with Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, praise from the New York Times) and have become the defining sound of real deal, honest-to-god Kentucky music.
Craig Havighurst from The String podcast described their music as a “subtle fusion of old time Kentucky folk music and forward thinking country rock. Their songwriting is story based, place loving, and frequently heart piercing. The harmony vocals are dark and haunting.”
We are excited to have Bailey Bigger open the show. Growing up in small town, Marion, Arkansas, just outside of Memphis, Tennessee, Bailey began writing and performing seriously in Memphis at the age of 14. Since then, she’s gone on to share stages and festival line ups with acts like The Avett Brothers, Sierra Ferrell, Sturgill Simpson, and many more.
The show will take place around or under a covered pavilion depending on the weather.
Schedule:
- Check-in beginning at 6:00
