Welcome to The Living Room, make yourself at home.
This is a quiet space for you to rest your body, take a deep breath and give yourself some time to slow down for a little while.
We have modified The Living Room providing more soft seating, lower light levels and sensory toys. Here you can also find resources on local support and activities for parents, carers and children, books for all ages, and supported seating for breastfeeding.
Across the corridor and inside The Living Room are images from school workshops run by our Creatives in residence Let’s Make Art as part of Bridges for Communities’ Bristol School Linking project, and a colourful display of self-portraits made by school children in Year 5 and Year 10.
There are templates and materials for you to get involved and create your own self-portrait inspired by the questions from the Linking Programme: Who am I?, Who are we?, Where do we live? and How do we all live well together?
