Youth from the Nurturing Roots Homeschool Group will bring history to life by portraying members of Roanoke’s African American community. The historic figures from the Melrose Plaza History Wall will tell their stories in their own words. Come witness history come to life. Music will be provided by Community ArtsReach. Special appearance by Joseph Bundy as Booker T. Washington.
