the museum will partner with the Civil War Roundtable of Arkansas to host Dr. David Sesser to speak about the Arsenal Crisis that occurred 165 years ago. Dr. Sesser is an Associate Professor of Library Science and serves as the Director of Sims Memorial Library at Southeastern Louisiana University. He previously held roles at Henderson State University, including Acting Library Director, Director of the Museum Studies Program, and University Historian. His work has appeared in multiple publications, including The Southeastern Librarian and the Encyclopedia of Arkansas. Additionally, he has authored two books: The Little Rock Arsenal Crisis: On the Precipice of the American Civil War and The School with a Heart: Henderson State University at 125.
