The Listening Room is a sacred space for women to come together to honor each other's voices and experiences. Each time we gather, there will be a sacred circle with a salt bowl ceremony to begin the gathering. During the salt bowl ceremony, each woman will be invited to contribute salts of your choice along with an offering from nature to represent your intentions for the month ahead to a communal bowl, symbolizing you unique essence and presence within the circle. As you share your stories, hopes, and fears, the salt melds together, signifying the unity and support found within the circle. We are mixing it up this month to offer this month’s circle on the land that Jen lives on in West Bragg Creek.
You will be invited to gather in circle for The Listening Room immersed in nature. Gathering on the grass sprinkled in wildflowers surrounded by the forest, it doesn’t get more grounding than this!
We will plan to meet at approx 2:45pm then walk together to our gathering place for the circle. You can anticipate this gathering lasting around 2 hours, with flexibility of it going longer depending on the group flow.
Our gathering place is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from where you will park. The walk is slightly uphill through a trail to a clearing that we will gather at.
You are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on and layers to wear.

The Listening Room is not the same as gathering with your best girlfriends (although they are welcome to join!) … the sacredness of this space will invite you into healing and release of whatever is needed for you. This gathering is being led by Jen Reddish, Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor. This offering is not like Jen’s other sessions, she won’t be teaching and won’t be doing therapy with this group. Jen will simply guide you through the motions of this scared circle to give you and opportunity to be seen, heard, and held.
You will be welcomed into this beautiful nurturing space surrounded with women with open hearts and open minds.
Each woman in attendance will be invited to take a turn sharing anything that you are needing space to share. Nothing is off limits and no feedback will be given, no comments made - you will just be held by this group of women giving you a gift of listening. You will contribute your salts and your offering to the communal salt bowl as you share… and when your turn feels complete, the next woman in there circle will be invited to do the same.
We will go around the entire circle until every woman has had her turn … No expectations and no pressure for what or how much you will share or if you will share at all.
The Listening Room is a place for deep listening, empathy, support and sisterhood, where every voice is valued and heard.
