About this Event
This Black History Month, we’re bringing together Brampton’s creative community for an evening centered on connection, shared knowledge, and collective growth.
This isn’t your typical sit-and-listen panel. Instead, the night is designed as an interactive panel and networking experience, where conversation flows both onstage and throughout the room inside Brampton Arts Organization's welcoming studio space. We’ll be joined by Black professionals and creatives who will share insights from their journeys, participate in an open Q&A, and engage directly with attendees in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Alongside the discussion, the evening will feature interactive moments — including a trivia segment and an opportunity for networking in an open mixer setting — created to spark conversation, encourage mingling, and make it easy to connect with new faces. Whether you’re a musician, filmmaker, visual artist, entrepreneur, or creative at any stage of your journey, the goal is to learn with each other, not just from the front of the room.
At its core, this mixer is about building community: celebrating Black excellence, exchanging knowledge across disciplines, and creating space for genuine connections to form — all while keeping the energy casual, engaging, and fun.
Come ready to listen, participate, share, and connect.
