The Discovery Performing Arts Advanced Theater class is excited to present "The Lightning Thief, The Percy Jackson Musical" November 8+9 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. The Percy Jackson Musical is based on Rick Riordan's 2005 novel of the same name. The musical follows Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old boy who discovers he is the son of a Greek god and must find Zeus' missing lightning bolt to prevent a war between the gods. The musical's themes include identity, collaboration, and belonging. When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he's a demigod, he and his friends embark on an epic journey meeting monsters,friendships and himself along the way.
With a rocking score and adapted for all ages, audiences will love this show!
