Renowned conductors Howard Rogerson and Andrew Penny MBE invite you to play some music from the International Library of Light Orchestral Music. This vast collection contains enormous amounts of music that are not available anywhere else, making this a truly unique opportunity.This year we're the centenary of composer Ron Goodwin (633 Squadron; Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines) and the 150th birthday of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (Hiawatha Trilogy).
Players are welcome to apply for a place; you can also attend the day as a listener. The day will conclude with a celebratory casual concert, for which tickets will be available from the Victoria Halls Box Office.
