We are organizing a Golf Tournament to bring awareness and to fundraise for a most extraordinary cause, Little Miss Zoe!
Zoe was born on October 4, 2018, after months in the hospital, numerous surgeries and testings she was diagnosed as the 49th person in the world with SLC35A2-CDG.
This is a gene mutation that effects important mechanisms during development and potentially can effect every system/organ in her body.
To date, Zoe has been diagnosed with: Hypotonia (low tone), Epilepsy, Failure to Thrive, Cortical Vision Impairment, Fully G-Tube Fed, Global Development Delay, GERD and muscular scoliosis.
Zoe currently attends several hours private therapy weekly, which costs $140-$180 per hour
Our private insurance coverage is absorbed within the first 3 weeks of January.
Our long term goal is to make The Lemon Project an organization that can bring awareness and funding to families like ours. We hope one day, it doesn't have to be so hard to navigate the seemingly never ending challenges of providing positive care for children with unique disabilities who require medical assistance and therapies not covered by conventional insurances.
